Muaythai Num in Furth, Germany is surely not a household name in the international Muaythai scene. Yet. But if Christian Syska and Marc Agrikola have their way, then things could be changing.

"We have been training Muaythai and Kickboxing at Muaythai-Num for the last few years with the clear intention of developing professional fighters. I am very proud that now we have reached a level where Christian and Marc can step up to good international competition I think" Head Coach Praves Zeis (Num) told us recently.

"Chris and Marc will be working on their boxing skills, training will concentrate more on K-1 style over the next few months, with intensive sparring sessions and maybe a fight to work on a few details. We are also planning a training camp in Thailand in the late summer, to work on kicking technique, power and of course strength and ring conditioning.

Although lacking greater fight experience, they are both very strong boys, have good technique and both posess a big will to win. I think they will be very exciting to watch in November, with a home crowd behind them and their honour at stake I expect them both to bring war into the ring!"

Christian Syska and Marc Agrikola will both be fighting K-1 Rules Superfights on the TCC VIP-Ringside Dinner Gala card in Bamberg on November 20th, 2010, "Num" will be making his comeback fight after years out of the ring, under WMC Full-Muaythai-Rules.
