"Narupon is my good friend and since he helped me on the Contender Asia in my fight against John Wayne Parr, we have stayed friends ever since. For a big fight he is the best guy for me to have in my corner and it will be a big reunion on Thursday when we meet up again." Zidov Akuma told the press.

"I hope Yodsanklai Fairtex can make it to the stadium on fightnight too, it would help me a lot and motivate me of course to win. Like seeing old friends, its always good when you get together to talk about old "Contender" times!"

Zidov Akuma is scheduled to arrive in Pattaya on January 6th.
