WMC I-1 World Muaythai Grand SLAM 2009 will be held in Hong Kong at the International Trade & Exhibition Centre (Star Hall) on 22. October 2009.

Once again, two world-class 4-mans will be held in one event:

* I-1 World Muaythai Grand SLAM 2009 – 72 kg
* I-1 International Grand Prix 2009 – 66 kg

* I-1 World Muaythai Grand SLAM 2009 (72 kg 4-man Tourney):

Dmitry Valent (a.k.a. "Black Valet”) from Belarus, 3-time world champion of WKN and defending I-1 World Grand SLAM Champion.

Vuyisile Colossa (a.k.a. "Cheetah”) from South Africa, 2-time South African Muaythai Champion and African Kickboxing Champion.

Abdoul Toure (a.k.a. "Olay”) from France, FBTMTDA French Champion and ISKA European Champion.

Pavlos Kaponis from Greece, 2-time Greek Muaythai Champion and 2-time Greek Boxing Champion.


* I-1 International Muaythai Grand Prix 2009 (66 kg 4-man Tourney):

Santichai Or Boonchuay (a.k.a. "Tom Yum Goong”) from Thailand, current I-1 World GP Champion.

Egon Racz (a.k.a. "Baby Face”) from Slovakia, Kickboxing Champion of Europe and Slovakia

Claudio Amoruso from Italy, IFMA European Champion and FIMT Italian Champion

Son Jun-Heok from South Korea, GMSTA Muaythai Champion and Korean Kickboxing Champion


Super Fights:

Yodkumarn Muaythai Plaza (a.k.a. "Flying Dragon”) from Thailand, 3 times Northern Thailand Champion will take the challenge from Rafal Simonides of Poland, current Champion of Poland and WMC European Champion.

Hong Kong’s Muaythai Superstar Bryan To Hang-Lam (a.k.a. "Stormy Kid”) will go face-off with Kim Hun-Jae of South Korea, current GMSTA Champion.

Another Hong Kong’s Muaythai Superstar Man-Kit Wong (a.k.a. "Monkey”) will go head-to-head with Olivier Rediger (a.k.a. "Soul Survivor”) of Belgium, Champion of Patong Stadium.

"Legend vs Legend” Super Fight features two Muaythai legends of Hong Kong, Andy Wong Ping-Ki (a.k.a. "Lionhearted”) and Lee Yiu-Tung (a.k.a. "Sifu Tung”) will determine who the toughest master is!
