With international fighter applications now close to one hundred, The Champions Club Promoter Bernard Caplin releases first fightcard concept for Pattaya event on the 22nd of August 2009...
"With international fighter bios and photos pouring in daily, we are now proud to release the basic framework for the TCC Thailand 2009 event fightcard." Bernard Caplin announced this morning.
"Up front, we are working on 9 fights, including:
* an international worldclass 1-King 4-Man Muaythai tournament at -70kg, sanctioned by the WMC,
* a K-1 Rules Superfight and
* a WMC Muaythai Title fight.
Currently we are considering the best fighter options we have for the 1-King 4-Man tournament and will be carding international Muaythai Superfights between international fighters from around the world and fighters from top Muaythai gyms in and around Pattaya.
We are also reviewing fighter options for the K-1 Rules Superfight and are working very closely with the WMC in Bangkok to finalise a WMC Title fight. I hope to finalise most of the matchmaking within the next few weeks, latest mid-July fight-fans will know more!"
The Champions Club Thailand 2009 is the first international event to be staged after two very successfull events in 2007 and 2008 in Germany.
