With over 800 fights as a referee or jurist under his belt and fresh from his post on the jury at "Its Showtime" in Amsterdam, Scotsman Joe Meiklem is again announced as Head Referee for TCC 5, The Champions Club VIP-Ringside Dinner in Bamberg on November 20th...
Born in Glasgow Scotland, a member of the MTBD ( Muaythai Bund Deutschland ) since 1987 and founder and Head Coach of Narong Gym in Iserlohn Germany, Joe Meiklem is a senior MTBD referee and a very experienced one at that.
Being in or around the ring over 800 times as judge or part of the jury, Joe was thrilled over his appointment again for 20th of November in Bamberg.
"To referee on a TCC show is a big honour for any of us, but for me to again be chosen as Head Ref and given the job of appointing the Board for this prestige VIP event is just magic.
This year the job is even more demanding with an absolute cracker with Priest West vs. Taylan Yesil as the main event, many fighters on the card with fights in Thailand under their belts and many different fighting styles. Also with two great ladies fights, the second TCC VIP-Ringside Dinner is lined up to be another top event in Bamberg. I cant wait to get back into a TCC ring again!"
